Position Head of Quality Asia - Small Household Appliance (station in Shenzhen)

Job Requirements
Degree/ Diploma Holder Major preferable in electrical- or mechanical Engineering.
5 Years of experience in the electronic industry (preferable in Small Household Appliance Industry)
Participate the training of EN/IEC standards and IEC17025.
Experienced in maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, designing process and procedures and the use of Quality Management tools (8D-Process, FMEA, Continues Improvement Process,..)
Minimum 5years working experience in the Lab- & Testing field, Minimum 3 years experiences at management level.
Familiar with IEC/EN standards, like IEC/EN 60335,EN50014 etc.
Familiar with product tests, like Safety, EMC, Chemical-, Performance- & Lifetime- test etc.
Familiar with product approvals and certification like CB, GS, UL, CCC, GTC etc.
Familiar with ISO 17025 accreditation for Laboratories
Strong skills of leadership and Management.
Excellent English essential, Chinese and Germany language skills preferred
General Duties
1) To lead and supervise all staff within the “Product Development & Testing Dep.” (Laboratory), the Supplier Quality Development Dep. (SQD) and our OQC-Inspection Dep. in SEVERIN Shenzhen to deliver business strategic objectives and right quality products in an effective, efficient, accurate, timely and cost-efficient manner.
2) To oversee and represent SEVERIN Sourcing& Innovation Centre and SEVERIN Asia in all aspects related to “Quality”.
3) To consult all management levels within SEVERIN Sourcing& Innovation Centre and SEVERIN Asia in questions related to all aspects of “Quality”, to manage the technical support, and the preparation of information’s, guidelines or trainings material related to Quality Requirements towards our internal QC.-Inspectors or other departments so that the quality targets will be achieved.
4) To build up, maintain and to enhance the laboratory operation and capability, to achieve a market conform product qualification and a high quality-performance of all laboratory activities.
5) Maintain the laboratory operation in accordance with IEC 17025 and to maintain the laboratory accreditation with external certification bodies.
6) Plays an active role in the qualification for new products (New product development) and the mandatory validation of related process and procedures.
7) Working closely together with our laboratory in Germany, our Product Owner Team’s (POT) and our Supplier to establish Quality Requirements and Specifications for the products, the production- or inspection procedure.
8) To Manage internal- and external testing activities to achieve short lead-time in testing and certification and the requested time to market.
9) To develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of legal, technical-, safety-, environmental-, and ethical issues, and ensure that SEVERIN employees are fully briefed on such issues affecting our business.
10) To establish and control the technical- & production release of new products considering Legal- and Performance requirements
11) To lead the Development of QA-Plans by conducting hazard analysis and Process-FMEA’s (P-FMEA’s), identifying critical control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
12) To lead the planning and execution of Quality Management System Audits, Process Audits or Product-Audits at the supplier and sub-supplier location(s).
13) To lead and support the Quality-Problem solving process for product- and supplier related issues, in all technical aspects and driving forward the related 8D-Reports.
14) To handle administrative responsibilities (e.g. Lab-Budget Planning) for a smooth operation and providing training for the staff within the Safety-laboratory, the EMC-Lab, the Performance lab and the Lifetime laboratory.
15) To lead the planning and coordination of First Article Inspections (FAI), Final Random Inspections, or other inspections by internal- or external parties in an effective and efficient way.
16) To ensure that claims from customers or objections from our head-quarter in Germany will be followed up in an appropriate way.
17) Work as key contact window between German Lab Engineer/IQC and OQC/SZ Lab team that we can get the same full pictures; and keep the latest information between us.
18) To communicate with Global Quality Director, and other departments in Hong Kong and oversees in Germany frequently.
19) Prepare statistical Performance data of the laboratory team towards General Manager and Global Quality Director in Germany.

Salary package
1. Monthly salary : RMB45,000
2. Contractual Annual bonus : RMB92,000
For 1. & 2. , salary tax paid by employee, roughly 20% effective tax rate
3. Housing allowance of RMB14K per month (tax free)

5. Annual leave : 12 days
Employer : Mainland Wholly owned Foreign Enterprise situated in Shajing, Shenzhen, working from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, lunch hour 12:30pm to 2:00 pm.
