Position Industrial Engineering Manager - baby/children wear
Salary 30 - 40K
Job Requirements
Familiar with US/Canada market requirements.
Experience in woven/knit items, baby/children wear and children’s sleepwear is preferable but not essential.
Proven track record in implementing IE tools and systems in garment production.
Able to work independently with vendor/factory and team members.
Systematic, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese including Mandarin.
Able to travel independently within China and overseas.
Professional degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably with major in
Apparel/Textile Engineering or related discipline.
Over 10 years’ of IE work experience in garment field preferably in baby/ children wear
Possess relevant experience in buying / sourcing office preferable but not essential.
Coordinate standardization of multiple factories scenario – SAM/SMV database creation
Provide constructive recommendations to factory production in terms of manpower/machinery/equipment of optimization level.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management.
Create capacity transparency for production sourcing.
Maintain and develop for long term strategic partners through IE/Efficiency improvement.
Collaborate with cross functional divisions/third party consultants
Lead and successfully deliver projects that may be assigned.
Work within the team and cross functional division members
Work with vendor / supplier.
